Review: Nox Spellenzolder

Hello again, fellow Bad Samaritan!

A few days ago, the infamous Dutch Youtube channel Nox Spellenzolder posted their review video on Youtube:

Nox is a channel that doesn’t just rate a game but takes you through how to play the game and what’s in the box.
At the end of the video, they grade the games they’re talking about from 1-10 with their honest opinion.

Luckily for us, Nox liked playing our game and presented the game with a 7, which in their book stands for a good game that they would play again.

A quick summary for those of you that don’t have time to watch or don’t speak Dutch:
+ Great artwork
+ Good dark sense of humour
+ Great quick pace party game
+ Not too chaotic but just the right amount
+/- Some of the cards are overpowered, but that’s all part of the game and can turn around quickly
– Only available in English
– The rules are quite short, most of the rules are learnt by playing

We want to thank Nox for taking the time to review our game in such depth and for his lovely review!

English reviews are coming soon as we don’t mean to pressure anyone into finishing and it just so happens our Dutch reviewers got there first 🙂

Meet the makers

It all started when Gils decided to create a superhero based card game. The idea was to have a game based on scenarios (problems) and having superpowers in your hand that you would need to solve them. With his very twisted brain, Gils quickly created cards that didn`t fit in a game of heroes. It was soon decided that this was not a game of justice but a game of injustice!

Vincent joined the team because of his many years of experience as an illustrator and graphic designer. The two cousins decided to catch up, and when Vincent played the game, he was hooked and couldn’t resist drawing such an artistic game.
